10/11/2016 0 Comments The Reality of Slytherin Seriously people. There's not that many problems, here, except for ONE. ONE FREAKING PROBLEM, APPARENTLY.
I'm a Slytherin. Should that be a problem? NO. Is it? YES, APPARENTLY. I hate the people who stereotype me. I HATE it. Just because I'm a Slytherin does NOT mean I'm going to go all power-crazy and try to destory the world. It does not mean I'm snobby and a spoiled brat, that I hate every other house because I believe I'm better than them (I'm not, definitely not). I can be just as brave as a Gryffindor, as kind as a Hufflepuff, and as smart as a Ravenclaw if I wish. I just don't wish sometimes; there are other things important to me. Not every Slytherin has to be like Voldemort or Bellatrix. Just because our mascot is a snake, that doesn't mean that we are snakes. We're normal, just like anyone else. We have problems, we have insecurities. We aren't always confident; trust me, I'm probably the shyest Slytherin ever (in reality, anyway). I am insecure and I do have problems. I have a lot, actually, and I'm DEFINITELY not perfect. So stop. Stop being so bloody stereotypical look. LOOK. We - all of us Slytherins - we're just like you, only with slight differences. Don't just look, obsereve. There are things you can't see from just a glance. No one is perfect, and no one is exactly like they should be. GET OVER IT.
